Credit Checks For Tenants

Credit Checks are not always the most important decision to rely on when making a choice about a potential renter but checking ones credit is still the common practice when determining someones ability to pay their bills on time and not default on loans, rent payments and other financial obligations. Everyone thinks if they run their credit that their credit score will drop down 20-30 points every time, some case this is true but it depends where you check your credit at?

The best places are to check your credit directly through the credit agency themselves since when you run your credit check through them it will not affect your credit score at all. I personally check my credit 2-3 times a year to see where I stand and to make sure nothing is affecting my score that I am not aware of and this would give me a chance to correct it if something was there.
